Just a simple frame, why bother which framer you choose?

Often customers walk in to our framing workshop with broken glass frame. We feel honor to be able to handle their precious collectibles. Recently we received an order to re-construct an authentic LFC autographed jersey frame.

As we dismantled the jersey from the frame, we were shocked to see the jersey were super-glued on the backing board!! Why used super-glue?? There are many better techniques to hold the jersey in place.

The black spots were backing paper that peeled off together with the super glue.

Aargh! There were super glue spots at the front part of the jersey too.e

Besides, there were also double sided tape all over the back of the jersey. Those white stripes were chemical reaction between adhesive material of the double sided tape and the fabric. Such damages is unfortunately irreversible.

Despite these unpleasant scars, we re-designed the frame for this jersey. We insist to use non-destructive approach to hold the jersey in place, which took us a lot more time and efforts.

Now the customer has the new frame up in the house, his photos telling us that our efforts been much appreciated.

There are certainly ways to quicken the work to bring down the framing cost. but we stand firm to ensure our quality delivery.
